* If you climb in the gym on the same day you take the yoga class you will receive half off the day pass for that day. If you are taking a night class you must pay for the yoga class at the same time you pay for climbing.
Whether you are a beginner or a practiced yogi, this yoga class offers something for everyone. The moves and poses are tailored to improve your rock climbing and sports performance but are wonderful for all other aspects of your daily/active life. You don't have to be a climber or an athelete to enjoy the benefits this class provides.
While the Saturday class is in session the gym is only open to those taking this class, so you won't have to worry about other people watching you and distracting you from your practice. Monday & Thursday classes are held in the common area of the St. Elmo Storage Building, right outside of TBA Gym's door. The gym is open during this time, but don't worry there are only passerby's and no audience to perform for.*NEW*Kundalini Yoga-
Our Newest Night Owl Yoga Class!!!
Focused on breath and movement, Kundalini Yoga focuses on freeing energy in the lower body and moving it upwards. Kundalini sequences (called kriyas) may consist of rapid, repetitive movements done with breath or holding a pose while breathing in a particular way. Kundalini sequences can be very physically intense. This type of yoga appeals to those who are up for both mental and physical challenges. Great exercise, but bring an open mind.
This is the ONLY place you can take Kundalini Yoga in the Chattanooga area.
We now have two yoga teachers that teach all classes. You may not know which teacher you will get when you come to class, but you are guaranteed a quality yoga class by whichever teacher is teaching that day.Jessica Morrow, has been a student of yoga for 11 years and has studied under Bryan Kest, Ashley Turner and Dolly Stavros. She is certified by the Yoga Alliance. Her teaching style is active and fun with hands-on personal instruction. You will leave this class feeling accomplished and exhilarated. Maggie White, was first certified through Namaste Healing Center in Asheville NC in 2004 and has logged hundreds of hours with some of the greatest Anusara teachers on the planet!. Her classes pay special attention to alignment principles that optimize our ability to feel comfortable in our bodies and celebrate the beauty of our diversity. She welcomes others to come together to play and flow with grace.

Bring your yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily. If you don't have a mat we can provide one for you to use during the class. Our space is heated to 80 degrees which allows you to stretch more deeply and safely; so also bring a towel and some water.
